Or you could hire a day boat and have a lazy day on our wonderful Broads just letting the stress drift away. Wroxham has the start of the Bure Valley steam railway – off the Aylsham for lunch and you can catch a paddle steamer to cruise the broads.
Norwich is only a short drive away, or you catch the park and ride and please yourself, shop (there is a plethora of shopping malls, independent shops and market stalls to choose from), eat in its many and varied restaurants or visit its Museums Churches, the castle or theatre.
The local Railway Station at North Walsham has taxis available and offers an excellent service from London or the Midlands via Norwich.
Hickling village has two pubs and the Swan at Ingham is a wonderful Gastro Pub serving mouth-watering fayre!
If you have a canine friend with you and wish to visit any of the great places mentioned on our website but find they are not as dog friendly as we are, we can recommend the Doggy Day Care facilities at nearby Broadland Cattery. Full details of their facilities are here.
